To enhance community engagement, Lee Ann has developed and deployed online surveys using her premium Survey Monkey account. The analyzed results have informed projects from comprehensive and strategic plans to music nonprofits searches for clergy.
In 2019-20, she worked with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity on a bilingual survey as the organization updated its strategic plan. She also has conducted surveys for the towns of Laurel and Bridgeville, in conjunction with her work on their comprehensive land-use plans. In the case of Laurel, the survey results helped define community values that became core values of the comprehensive plan.
Other work has been for churches, including a survey as the Episcopal Diocese of Delaware began its search for a new Bishop; that survey generated more than 600 responses. She also designed surveys for a parish rector search and a music ministry survey.
