Empowering communities to tell their stories, Lee Ann shoots and produces videos. “Paddling Broad Creek” promotes nature and heritage tourism in and around Laurel, Delaware. “Reimagine Laurel” was an effort to sell the town to the producers of the HGTV show, “Home Town,” for a community makeover. Partnering with the University of Delaware’s Sustainable Coastal Communities Initiative, Lee Ann also helped the Town of Leipsic publicize its first and second annual Waterfront Oyster Festivals.
This video incorporated a drone, 4k camera (for interviews) and iPhone (while on the water). Lee Ann uses Final Cut Pro to edit videos.
Laurel tried to convince the HGTV show, “Home Town” to come to Delaware for a makeover. This video was produced in February 2020, just before the pandemic hit.
